THE WHALE WILL BE THE OPENING NIGHT MOVIE

 

It is an honor for Los Cabos International Film Festival to announce that, the acclaimed A24 film The Whale (USA, 2022), will be the opening night movie that will pave the way for our eleventh edition’s program on November 9 at Cinemex Puerto Paraíso, in Los Cabos. The Whale tells the story of a reclusive English teacher living with severe obesity who attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter for one last chance at redemption, and it is based on the acclaimed play by Samuel D. Hunter. There is no question that The Whale, one of this year’s most anticipated films, is the best bet to open the eleventh edition of Los Cabos International Film Festival.
