This edition stood out for bringing together major figures in cinema as part of our main guests: Spike Lee, Adam Driver and Terry Gilliam graced the red carpets, Galas and special screenings. #LosCabos7 film program was made up of 41 national and international titles, of which more than 80% had their premiere in Mexico as part of the Festival.

OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE HISTORY OF FILM TRIBUTE TO SPIKE LEE: American filmmaker, actor and screenwriter who presented the premiere of his film Blackkklansman, as well as the emblematic Do the right thing.
OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO FILM HISTORY TRIBUTE TO TERRY GILLIAM: American-born British screenwriter, director, actor and comedian who presented the premiere of his film The Man Who killed Don Quixote as well as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
OUTSTANDING WORK IN CINEMA TO ADAM DRIVER: American actor who also presented the films Blackkklansman by Spike Lee, The Man Who killed Don Quixote by Terry Gilliam and Paterson by Jim Jarmusch.
