More about David Pineda, designer of #LosCabos10 image
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, this year we opened a call for young designers, graphic and visual artists from all over Mexico, inviting them to think, create and develop a visual concept that would give #LosCabos10 a unique and inimitable face. The talent displayed in each submission was remarkable. After a long deliberation, David Rodrigo Pineda Ortiz’ piece was chosen to become the image of our 2021 edition.
David Pineda is a graphic designer, illustrator and advertising creative. He has worked for national and international companies such as: FCB México, Geometry Global and Beyond Group. He’s currently Creative Growth Designer at GBM. During his career he has obtained several awards: Silver Mention in the Advertising Category of the 2019 Design Award, shortlist in the Film Category at Young Lions MX 2018, Finalist in the 12th International Poster Biennial in Mexico, and winning illustrator in the INDIO Labels 120 Anniversary, among others.
